Not that you need some silver bullet (and you know there’s no such thing), but it would be good to be walking with someone who has also been in a few tough spots over the years. And to develop a different perspective, broaden your horizons and enjoy life more!

The Wood and the Trees

Will it be like Making a Movie? You know how to plot the path, what resources you’ll need and what the journey may look like. You have some tools, some experience, so you could follow a tried pathway, but where to go? You don’t have a good idea of what the outcome might be, what it looks like on the other side of the forest. The destination is quite fuzzy, perhaps there’s not even a light shining through the trees.

Let’s make a list. Here are a few ideas to get you going. Is it about nature? What about your senses? Is it something you hear, see, taste? That evokes a happy memory? Takes you back to a time or a place, or is it a fragrance? It smells just like a caring grandparent perhaps? Is it a sound that you love? What makes you smile, or laugh? Can you can simply savour it?
